If you are interested to join the motorcade, please have your vehicles decorated and ready at the assembly area at the DES East parking lot at about 8:20AM. Good afternoon DISD parents and guardians, due to scheduled activity trips and a school bus driver shortage all bus routes will be cancelled this afternoon. Third and fourth grade basketball will have its first practice Tuesday, March 25 in the DAC from 5-6:30 PM. A parent meeting will follow afterwards from 6:30-7. In order to participate in practice or games, students must have a physical filled out on an N M A A form by a physician. These can be picked up at the elementary office. Thank you. The Middle School 8th graders will be taking the ASR State Mandated Science test this Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18.
Please make sure all your 8th graders come to school on these days.

Fifth and Sixth Grade girls basketball will have practice in the VMG this Wednesday, March 5, 4-5 PM with a parent meeting from 5 to 5:30 PM following. Fifth and sixth grade boys basketball will have practice in the VMG this Wednesday, March 5, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM with a parent meeting from 6:30 to 7 pm following. Students must have a completed physical to practice. Updates for 3rd and 4th grade coming soon.
Girl's basketball will host a first round of district playoff games Tuesday, February 25 at 6 pm versus Ramah. Tickets will be $5.00 and cash only at the door for first round admission. Concessions will be cash or card. Boys Basketball receives a first round bye. They will host a second round of district playoff game Wednesday, February 26, at 6 pm versus winner of Laguna Acoma and Navajo Pine.
