The Dulce Middle School Game with Questa has been cancelled. The Dulce High School Varsity Game with Questa is happening and will be tonight at 7 PM at the DHS Football Field. Gates will open at 5 PM! GO HAWKS!!

Please be advised that Dulce Independent School District will start conducting Beginning of Year Assessments with students next week.
Beginning of year assessments are simply a way to collect information for informing and improving classroom learning. Participation is required, but assessment results do not impact student grades. You can help your student(s) prepare by:
Ensuring they get a full night's rest before each school day,
Ensuring that they arrive to school on time and do not miss school unless they are sick or have a necessary medical appointment, and
Reminding them to take their time and do their best.
Students in grades 9-12 will be participating in NWEA MAPS assessments starting Monday.
Students in grades 3–8 will be participating in Cognia iMSSA assessments starting Tuesday.
Students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade will begin participating in Amira Learning assessments of Reading and Math skills the week of August 24-27.
If you have any questions regarding your child’s assessment schedule, please contact Katie Cachucha, District Test Coordinator at 505-210-5869.
Thank you for your ongoing support of your child's education!
Sincerely,
Katie Cachucha
District Test Coordinator and PreK Program Administrator
Dulce Elementary families, we are making an important adjustment to support student learning and safety.
Learning Time Checkout means checking your student out during the school day before regular dismissal.
Beginning immediately, Learning Time Checkout will end at 3:00 p.m. Student dismissal will remain at the regular time of 3:50 p.m.
The final 45 minutes of the school day are some of the most important learning minutes for our students.
During this time, teachers are providing small-group instruction, one-on-one support, tutoring, and reviewing important skills in reading and math.
At Dulce Elementary, we have an elevated sense of urgency to help every student become a stronger reader, build important math skills, and reach their highest potential.
Protecting this learning time helps our students continue to grow and succeed.
We appreciate your partnership and support as we work together to keep our students safe and learning strong.
Thank you so much for supporting our DES Warriors! 💙
