2011-2012 Title II Employee Training Reimbursement Information

2011-2012 Contract Training REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT

Staff members that plan to begin courses during the 2011-2012 Fall and Spring Semesters, and meet the above specifications, please fill out the above forms and submit them to Liz Garcia at the business office.  Dulce Schools, through Title II, Part A, will be able to pay a portion or full (contingent on availability of Title II funds) for tuition fees and textbooks purchased and used during the courses. You must present evidence of receipts for tuition fees and textbook costs and the final grade (B or better) by the educational institution.

If courses were completed this summer, July-August 2011, please get this information (Title II Employee Training Reimbursement Info, attached) to Liz Garcia as soon as possible so that preparations for the reimbursement process can begin.  If you are taking classes now (Fall 2011), you will present the appropriate documents at the end of the semester (usually in December for first semester; May for second semester).  Additionally, if you think you will be taking spring or summer courses for an additional endorsement or to move from one licensure to the next, fill out the planning document, get approval from your principal,  and give it to Liz as soon as you can.  The information will be included in the 2011-2012 Title II, Part A portfolio, and all reimbursements must be encumbered before the 2012 fiscal year ends June 30.

***Additionally, if you have a New Mexico student loan, you may be able to apply for Loan Forgiveness or Teachers for Tomorrow assistance.  Download the forms from www.nmstudentloans.org.
